Chasing Fate

When Lorgi the snowdragon hatches, a seer predicts he will bring doom to his own kind. Starting life as an outcast, he refuses to accept this fate and comes to believe he has the power to create his own destiny and bring good luck to others. Yet the doom begins. Abducted by a wicked sorcerer, attacked by monsters, and swept across a continent by warring hordes, he fights to save human friends made on the way. Before Lorgi returns home, nearly a year later, he transforms those warring hordes into a force for good and defeats three of the continent’s worst evils. But when he encounters the greatest evil of all, he doubts his own powers. While most in Lorgi’s world believe in sorcery, fate and mercurial gods, he believes in action!

About the Author

Gordon Lazarus works as a musician and teacher in the Los Angeles area, yet savors any chance to leave that “franticopolis” for more civilized realms. 

He enjoys experiencing all the arts, including humor, film, and snowdragon cooking (they’re beer-drinking vegetarians). Chasing Fate: A Snowdragon’s Odyssey is the first in a series, The Lorgámon Chronicles.
