Willa Robinson is the visionary, CEO, and publisher of KP Publishing Company, an independent, minority woman-owned book publishing company that publishes fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books. After being seriously injured in a horrific train wreck on January 26, 2005, in Glendale, California, where a distraught man parked his SUV on the tracks to kill himself, but changed his mind, killed eleven people, and more than two hundred injured. Willa was one of the 200 seriously wounded. As a result, she decided to express her ultimate purpose, writing and publishing entirely during her recovery. Willa is the author of three books.

Her company’s mission is to publish quality books that educate, inspire, entertain, and empower children, young adults, and adult readers to take specific and strategic action and become productive forces in our society. In addition, KP Publishing lightens the author’s load with a team of experts who have many years of experience in the book publishing industry. Before becoming a book publisher, Willa was an advertising and marketing executive for over thirty-five years. After losing her husband of 55 years to COVID-19, she is now a widow. Willa has two adult sons, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson and resides in Valencia, California.
