About the Author
The idea for Nobody Knows My Name came when Elizabeth “Betty” Johnson, a first-time author’s grandson, Michael, was born 15 years ago. Everyone in the family had a nickname for him. Johnson thought it would make a fun children’s book, and the idea stayed on her mind. Ten years ago, she wrote a draft, had a cousin draw some pictures, and the manuscript remained in draft form until this year, 2019.
Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California State University, Los Angeles, and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. She is a widow with two daughters, five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Johnson has been retired for more than twenty years and resides in Southern California.
