About the Author
Alyse Selena Govan was born in Liberia, West Africa, adopted by missionaries, and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
By age 20, she was a mother of two sons. In the late 1980s, Mrs. Govan and her husband, Nathaniel, moved to California with their family, and she aspired to accomplish her education in Early Childhood Development. She and her husband reside in Southern California.
