About the Author

Chaplain Colonel (Ret.) Walter E. Beamon and his wife, Ikie, of Madison, Mississippi, have shared more than six decades of faith, love, and service. A retired U.S. Air Force Chaplain and Pastor Emeritus, Colonel Beamon devoted his life to ministry and leadership. Ikie, a registered nurse and educator with degrees from Tougaloo College and Vanderbilt University, served alongside him around the world.
