Chosen by God

Introduced to God and His goodness at an early age, Willie and her sister were left for more than five years in the care of her mom’s estranged boyfriend, aka, “The Giant.” He was a stranger to Willie and her sister, Marie. However, one good thing the Giant did, something he probably didn’t realize he was doing, he sent Willie and Marie to church. The Giant thought the church would be a built-in babysitter to get the girls out of the house so he could do his “thing.” Little did he know…that the mothers in the church, the pastor and members would shower them with the love and affection they were missing. Not only that, but Willie found her new Father while being sent to the church two to three times per week. One day, God let Willie know, “I am Your Father, and if you acknowledge Me, I will direct your path.”

Chosen by God: The Little Brown One is filled with numerous testaments of how God brought Willie and her family through the storms, and how He allowed the sun to shine in their lives as well. You will laugh out loud, you will cry, and you will know or confirm that with God ALL things are possible.

About the Author

At the age of fifteen, Willie Frances Hill was forced to marry her husband who was nine years her senior. During the three-year marriage, she gave birth to a son and a daughter. Willie devoted her life to taking care of and supporting her sisters, her three children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many more. She often thought and said, “Who else is going to do it?”

Willie worked many jobs to accomplish her mission. She had a long career in the Aerospace industry while also working as a counselor to abused women, and alcohol and chemical abuse counselor.

She wrote her debut book, Chosen by God: The Little Brown One to share her testimonies and let readers know God keeps His Word. Willie is an active member of her church, Living Praise Christian Center in Chats
