 Synopsis:

Coloring Over Cancer is a coloring book for people who are in the trenches battling cancer or fighting through treatment. The author, Julia Cooksey Evans is a two-time cancer survivor. She has had open brain surgery, six additional surgeries, numerous rounds of chemotherapy, an Ommaya Reservoir inserted into her skull, and radiation treatment. While going through the process, she spent time coloring, which proved to be calming and therapeutic. Coloring was instrumental to her sanity and link to normalcy amidst so much out of her control. When the author had minimal energy and wanted to do something other than watch TV, coloring was her go-to. She created this book to share some color with others that are going through a time when life often feels unbearable. Julia wants you to know that you are not alone, she understands how you feel.
