About the Author

 

Pastor Les Robinson is the great-great-great-grandson of Daniel Blue, a pioneer who founded the first African American African Methodist Episcopal Church west of the Mississippi and fought to end slavery in California. Pastor Robinson is a dedicated Bible scholar and teacher with over forty years of ministry experience. His inspiring messages have challenged believers and non-believers to pursue transformative relationships with Christ.

Growing up in Sacramento’s tough Oak Park neighborhood, Les overcame adversity to become an athlete, coach, musician, actor, and pastor. He founded the Burning Bush Church in Santa Clarita in 1999, served as Director of Ministry for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and currently leads the Men’s Ministry at the Sanctuary Foursquare Church.
