About the Author
Chandrika David, a Madras University (India) graduate, is no stranger to the culinary arts. Initially focused on creating scrumptious meals for family and friends, she began holding private cooking classes in her home in Racine, Wisconsin, in 1995.
By 2000, she was teaching classes regularly in Southern California at Santa Clarita Community Center, Sur La Table, Whole Foods Market, Gelson’s Market, and Glendale Community College. Her talents for streamlining and simplifying existing recipes, creating new recipes, and helping her students feel confident in the kitchen are bar none.
To call this cookbook from Chandrika’s Kitchen is really to say this labor of love comes from Chandrika’s heart because her kitchen is one of the special places she enjoys expressing so much love. She currently resides in Southern California with her husband.
