About the Author
James Nutt is a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Cheryl, for more than 38 years. They have three daughters, Caprisha, Tiffany, and Jasmine, three sons-in-law, Darnell, Ivery, and Chris, and eight grandchildren, Daiijah, Davione, Danaiya, Dillion, Jordan, Aden, Hailey, and Austin. James is a retired postal worker and an accomplished woodworker/designer for more than forty years. He is also a 40-year survivor of Lupus and a recipient of a kidney transplant. James is a walking miracle and has experienced the power and favor of God in his life. He and his wife reside in Bakersfield, California.
In Sickness and In Health: God’s Continuous Miracles describes the tears, fears, challenges, and accomplishments of living with Systemic Lupus and Chronic Kidney Disease. The author describes how hard he had to fight to stay alive for more than 39 years. The disease affected his mind, body, soul, spirit, and family. In Sickness and In Health intends to inspire, uplift, and encourage, especially those going through similar experiences. The author proclaims he is a living witness that you can make it with God on your side.
